My concern is justice, defined as fairness. For explanation, see John Rawls' monumental "A Theory of Justice." That work is generally recognized as one of the outstanding treatments ever written on the subject. My field is religious ethics. My Ph. D. is in philo- sophy of religion, with a specialty in world religions. My focus within religion is usually, but not exclusively, in the context of Judeo-Christian-Muslim teachings. I'm a religious pluralist, and a philosophi-cal pragmatist.
